About Me:: Concert Photographer - 30 years
Began photographing rock concerts in 1976. Published in the past in Rolling Stone, Creem, Circus, Billboard, Hit Parader, JAM Magazine to name a few. Hired to do a variety of assignments for CBS Records in the late 70's. Became a staff photographer for The Oklahoma Daily, a daily college newspaper for the Unversity of Oklahoma (OU) in late 1978. It was a blast! Received my B.S. degree at OU in Microbiology. (Yes I was a nerd!!). Photographed Sammy Hagar's single cover for Piece of My Heart off the Standing Hampton album and a worldwide poster for the tour. (You see the photo at www.redrocker.com on the main page). Veteran of many of the TEXXAS JAM's at the Cotton Bowl. Still have my combat boots from the experience!

You made my daughters ( she's 16) day by saying some of the pics were good as she took them she would love to be a photographer but theres not a big call for that in our area or places to take classes, she was very happy with the Pistoleros and Faster Pussycat pics consideing she only took her coolpix s51 digital.

At 12:21pm on July 28, 2008, Kricker said…: Hi Vernon, I still didnt get the book today and because of the inquiry i filed with the postal inspector they call me each day when mail arrives and the post office in Norman once again only got the label but never a book to ship. Heres the tracking number Tracking Number: 9121785091401663291676 ( the new one) if you have some time to call them about it maybe for you they will have answers, I dont know what else to do but file a complaint with the BBB. The book will be 12x9 landscape format, all four color, slick stock, hard cover, color sleeve, between 108-128 pages. I am now currently requesting a short paragraph or two of your experience(s) at Rocklahoma for possible use in the book.
