Who knew adolescent dreams come true? To see all of my idols, my gods of music, all in one venue. I hate that it took 20 years for it to happen, but better late than never. The fates smiled upon us that weekend. Mighty Zues parted the clouds and showed his appreciation for rock n roll. We found a home that weekend, in a field in Oklahoma; forty miles from nowhere. Much like another generation who found their home in a field in upstate New York forty years ago. Our generation found its place and made it's mark. I am forever grateful to ROK for reminding me of the aspirations of a youth long since gone. I am thankful for another chance to bang my head, go round and round, find some metal health, live on the wild side, be a fallen angel, stay up all night & sleep all day, to see Mr. Rainmaker and remember that we ARE the youth gone wild.
